With each year's crop, the same tasting structure of each wine must be obtained, despite harvests that differ from year to year. All the data assembled from the successive tastings permits the blending of several tanks so as to produce the desired wine. Once the blending is finished, the wine is stocked in a blending tank.
The blending tanks permit the creation of carefully created wines, and allow the delivery, throughout the year, of a homogeneous product.
After the blending, the wine is filtered through natural crushed fossils that remove all suspended particles. So as to avoid reducing its structure, the wine is filtered lightly. The entire procedure of blending to produce enjoyable structured wines with strongly developed aromas requires great know-how.
All of the Vignerons de Laudun wines are named after the lands or the preparations: Cuvée camp romain aged in oak that brings a reddish tinge to the wine; "Expressions en chêne" ripens in merrain oak barrels.
These barrels are changed every three years.
An age-old know-how creates a perfect Cotes du Rhone Laudun wine, and with it the pleasure of drinking a wine of great quality.
